INDAZIFLAM 10 g/L + GLUFOSINATE AMMONIUM 200 g/L SC

A suspension concentrate herbicide combining a low-dose pre-emergent (indaziflam) with a fast-acting contact herbicide (glufosinate ammonium) — delivering immediate burndown plus residual control of new flushes. Suited for total vegetation control and orchard-floor management.

Target Weeds
Emerged Weeds, New Flushes, Resistant Grasses (e.g. Eleusine indica) & Broadleaves
Mode of Action
HRAC 10 (Glutamine Synthetase Inhibitor) + HRAC 29 (Cellulose Biosynthesis Inhibitor)
Use Sites / Crops
Non-Crop Areas, Orchards, Plantation Crops, Oil Palm, Sugarcane
Active: Indaziflam + Glufosinate Ammonium Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Fast Burndown + Residual Control Dual HRAC Group 10 + 29 Action

Product Information

Mode of Action

Glufosinate ammonium (HRAC Group 10) is a contact herbicide that inhibits glutamine synthetase, causing toxic ammonia buildup and rapid desiccation of green tissue. Indaziflam (HRAC Group 29, CBI) disrupts cellulose synthase activity at the plasma membrane, blocking cell wall formation in germinating seedlings. This combined dual action provides rapid burndown of existing weeds while suppressing subsequent germination flushes.

Target Weeds
  • Emerged annual and perennial broadleaves
  • Emerged annual and perennial grasses
  • Glyphosate-resistant weeds (e.g. Eleusine indica)
  • Germinating seed flushes (pre-emergent control)

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop / Area Target Weeds Application Guidance
Orchards / Plantation crops Emerged weeds + new flushes Apply as a directed spray to the base of established trees only; avoid contact with green bark, foliage, or suckers, as glufosinate is non-selective on contact.
Oil palm Resistant grasses (e.g. Eleusine indica), broadleaf weeds Useful where glyphosate resistance has developed in grass populations; the indaziflam component adds pre-emergent suppression of subsequent flushes.
Non-crop / Plantation floors Mixed weed spectrum, annual grasses and broadleaves Ensure adequate soil moisture after application, as the indaziflam component requires rainfall or irrigation for activation; weeds already emerged need the contact component for control, since indaziflam alone will not control emerged weeds.
For specific L/ha or ml/ha dosage rates and local activation requirements across crops and non-crop areas, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Directed Base Spraying & Bark Protection
Apply strictly as a directed spray to the orchard or plantation floor around established trees and palms. Use shielded nozzles to prevent spray drift onto non-target foliage, green bark, or root suckers.
2. Activation Moisture & Burndown Management
Ensure adequate soil surface moisture via rainfall or overhead irrigation following application to activate the residual indaziflam component in the seed germination zone, while glufosinate rapidly desiccates existing emerged vegetation.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, face mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Non-selective to green foliage; avoid spray drift onto crops, desirable plants, or nearby water bodies. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
